Our Parkour / Flips classes cover:
This gives you a context of how it came about and its values from Art du Déplacement, in order to build a strong body, mind and spirit and become a better human. Whether you are practising Art du Déplacement, Parkour or Freerunning, these values, philosophy and history will help you gain a deeper understanding of the discipline.
Proper warm-ups, conditioning drills and cool-downs make sure your body is ready for an intensive training, and prevent injuries.
Get introduced to various Parkour movements, such as jumping, rolling, vaulting, and more, in a progressive manner. You can also learn how to flip (front flips, back flips, side flips, etc) indoors at Kraken Gym, one of the top Parkour gyms in Singapore. No matter what your level is, you get tailored instructions to help you improve, understand the core concepts of the movement, and apply it in real world settings safely.
The world becomes your playground in Art du Déplacement, Parkour, and Freerunning. You will get in touch with your inner-child to move freely in various ways, and never see the world the same away again. You can learn to flip like an acrobatic expert. The best part? You can do this anywhere, as long as there is floor space.
The physical aspect is obvious, but there’s also the mental aspect. It teaches you to overcome fears/obstacles as you push yourself out of your comfort zone. It shows you how to adapt to your environment and improvise with what you have.
In Parkour, you learn to prevent a fall, safely fall, and recover from a fall. In life, we inevitably fall sometimes (physically and/or metaphorically). It’s vital to know how to keep ourselves safe if it happens, so that we can pick ourselves up and move on.
Unleash your child’s potential in movement. They will discover the value of discipline, respect and co-operation while training with other people around their age and older.

He is also a community leader – with his ambitions in growing the Parkour scene regionally, he masterminded the biggest Parkour event in Asia – Lion City Gathering.
With 7 years of coaching experience and counting, he is also proud to be the second person in Asia to have attained the ParkourEDU certification, and aims to share his outlook of Parkour to budding practitioners.
“Anyone who needs a Parkour coach, or simply want to learn more about Parkour, please check out and contact Chen Pin for a quick chat. Super nice, patient and hardworking young man. Faiz has been training parkour since 2009. Inspired by the likes of Jackie Chan, he was always mesmerized as stuntmen and acrobats performed their ‘impossible’ feats.
Lured into a continuous adventure of self-improvement, he has since trained with several international communities across the world. He has also performed professionally – for Singapore Night Fest, SHINE Festival, MediaCorp, Universal Studios, McDonald’s China, BMW, Prudential and many others.
With a renewed perspective, he is keen to share his experiences of the art to nurture a new generation of passionate movers. He believes that Parkour is an amazing tool to achieve greater autonomy over the body and mind. Come join him for a session!
“Coach Faiz is really understanding and patient. He will always help me in understanding the different new moves taught during class and provide progressions to help me overcome my fear of certain moves. He is also meticulous when it comes to understanding each students’ strengths and weaknesses which is really helpful when he provides us with advice and suggestions. I have progressed a lot in my parkour journey after attending his lessons.”
When it comes to trying anything new, Sulaiman is always game for it. Hence, it is not remotely suprising that parkour is the only discipline that has stuck with him for over a decade given how he views it as a great tool in combining knowledge and skills gained from exploring other activities. These include hobbies such as tricking and aggressive inline-skating, performing a dance/parkour segment during the National Day Parade in 2017 or even using his content-creation media skills to publicise the Lion City Gathering!
A self-described “drifter artist” that went to film school, Sulaiman always aims to attain a cinematic standard when it comes to learning new techniques and tricks no matter how many times he fails. Since 2016, he has always found joy in coaching parkour to anyone, whether they are the elderly keeping active, a young child developing their motor skills or even an infatuated teenager hoping to impress his crush by doing a backflip! These interactions not only keep him accountable to his goal but the shared movement explorations has led to valuable creative ideas that he hopes to share with everyone.
